CarePartners Counseling is pleased to be teaching one of the 4 classes in the April series of Next Phase Living, organized and hosted by Jen Kearns, Jeff Kurtz and Robin Glasener of RE/MAX Nexus. These free classes provide reliable resources and knowledge to help aging adults design the next phase of life. I am looking forward to introducing the participants to mindful practices to help reduce stress, depression, anxiety and increase happiness in daily life.

Improve physical, mental & emotional well-being
Gain greater fulfillment and happiness in daily life
CarePartners Counseling will be leading a mindfulness workshop for the Alzheimer's Association's group facilitators on 2/19/19. I look forward to sharing mindful tools and practices that group facilitators will be able to use for themselves and incorporate into their monthly support group meetings. Thank you to Ralph Patrick, Regional Director Alzheimer's Association of Colorado, for the invite.
Creative Story Telling - January 2019
CarePartners Counseling is pleased to have been asked to guest-lead the upcoming Alzheimer's Association's Memory Cafe on 1/21/19. It will be my pleasure to lead the group of those with dementia and their care partners in a creative story activity. Creative story telling is an inclusive activity that does not depend on memory but rather builds instant memories as we write the story collaboratively. Thank you to Ralph Patrick, Regional Director Alzheimer's Association of Colorado, for the invite. And to Tari Muir and Claudia Johnson, memory cafe leaders, for welcoming me as a guest speaker.
Younger Onset Support Group - January 2019

Thank you to Ralph Patrick, Regional Director Alzheimer's Association of Colorado, for the invite.
